During the Thanksgiving break, I began reading one of my favorite book series, Anne of Green Gables. I liked it the first time I read it many years ago and several readings later, I still like it. What I noticed this time around though was that Anne was a total Law of Attraction girl. She imagined her life into being and when things weren't as she wanted, she imagined herself into feeling better. She does this over and over, especially in the first book.
"Do you know," said Anne confidentially, "I've made up my mind to enjoy this drive. It's been my experience that you can nearly always enjoy things you if you make up your mind firmly that you will. Of course you must make it up firmly. I am not going to think about going back to the asylum while we're having our drive. I'm just going to think about the drive."
Another book I had mentioned previously was The Little Princess. This is my all-time favorite book. It wasn't until reading it more recently that I realized that it was a good story about Law of Attraction as well. Little Sarah Crewe behaves as she imagines a princess would, no matter how bleak the circumstances.
